Optometry is a profession that cares for the sense of vision. The academic and clinical training to the students is to enable them the skills needed to diagnose, treat and prevent problem relating to human being's eye sight. They can focus on regular vision and can prescribe eye glasses and contact lens.
Offering primary eye care, optometry is a challenging, stimulating and exceptionally rewarding profession that offers excellent opportunities for work in India and abroad
Further, they can do B.sc optometry, M.sc optometry, M.phil and Ph.D.
Admission Requirements
The following certificates / documents have to be submitted along with duly filled Application form
1. HSC/Pre-Degree/ AISSCE/ ISCE/ CBSE /Intermediate or equivalent mark statement.
2. Migration Certificate for the students who have passed other than HSC Examination of Tamil Nadu.
3. Community Certificate
4. Passport Size Photographs (5 Nos.)
5. Aadhaar Copy
